Member Experience Coordinator


Provide an exceptional experience to our membership by promoting the mission, service objective and values of the organization. Seek to identify opportunities to improve our members’ financial lives through counseling and education. Promote Credit Union products and services, through member engagement. Maintain a high level of quality standards. Provide members with accurate information, available options and most favorable course of action.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greets members in lobby area and notifies appropriate staff member needs.  Directs members or vendors promptly to the appropriate individual/area

  • Keep track of Financial Service Representative availability and notify an FSR when appointments/members arrive

  • Required to have a deeper understanding of all products and services to evaluate, personally assist, and/or direct member to achieve expected outcome

  • Identify member concerns, identify potential resolution options, and gather information necessary for research and/or direct members to a Financial Service Representative for more in-depth problem resolution if necessary

  • Keeps Branch Management informed of potential security or service problems

  • May be responsible for opening/closing procedures in the lobby

  • Act as branch marketing liaison ensuring proper marketing collateral is placed accordingly

  • Refer products and services using the needs approach

  • Distribute credit union materials, brochures and other information as requested

  • Required to participate in First Source Federal Credit Union events as well as designated Community events

  • Required to attend or participate in necessary compliance training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy, OFAC, and Privacy

  • Required to attend training sessions as appropriate

  • Required to travel as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • High School or equivalent plus 1–3 years work experience OR related business degree

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must have or obtain Notary Public License

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong computer aptitude

  • A professional appearance

  • Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays as needed
